Successful Finnish band The Rasmus returned to the UK on Monday to play a sell-out gig at the Islington O2 Academy. It was the band’s last date on a short European tour, which saw them playing sold out shows in the likes of Italy, France and Germany. Before the show, we managed to have a little chat with lead singer Lauri Ylönen and bassist Eero Heinonen.

The first taste of The Rasmus’s upcoming album will be heard at the UMK song contest finals in Finland on February 25th, as The Rasmus will be a guest performer with their new upcoming single “I’m a Mess”.
The purpose of the contest is to find a representative for Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), a major competition that will be held in Azerbaijan in May 2012. The Rasmus is not competing. …read the full article ›
