Death feels good

www.exonline.com.mx {Mexico} - 24 October 2008

The multi-band , The Rasmus, who has won in 14-year career eight Emmas (the Finnish equivalent of the Emmy) and two MTV Europe awards for being the group most Scandinavian seller, talks about issues like the death of her new album study, entitled Black Roses. His song Ten black roses, included in this album, talks about a couple who breaks into a cemetery.

"The Finns will have more fear of death that Mexicans, there is something very sad. In the south of the world often sees death as something beautiful and natural, "said Lauri Ylönen, lead singer of the group, on a promotional visit to Mexico City, which included a brief presentation at the Hard Rock.

"We think it's great that here (Mexico) will be held cult of death, I do not think we could learn to appreciate life without death , or light without darkness , completed bassist Eero Heinonen.

Livin' in a world without you is the name of the single, and despite the fact that the letter is dark, basically aims to give a positive message and hope.

The album was produced by the legendary Desmond Child (Kiss, Bon Jovi), who helped them both in the musical aspect as in the lyric.

"Desmond is a legend, was a great honor to work with him. We worked together many ideas , for write best lyrics he gave us a manual from film scripts divided into four chapters: the orphan, the traveler, a warrior and martyr. A number of famous movies like ET, Star Wars and Titanic have been written through this manual, but I can not remember who wrote it, "said Lauri.

The group, aided by Pauli Rantasalmi on guitar and Aki Hakala on drums, will begin his tour in January and plans to play in Mexico in April 2009.
