In 2003 the world surrendered to the Finnish band The Rasmus with the release of their major album "Dead Letters", which reached #1 in countless countries. They've released their new album "Black Roses" recently, which has been produced by Desmond Child and Harry Sommerdahl, and mixed Michael Wegener. The first single "Living In A World Without You" has already made a big impact in the charts.
The album was entirely recorded in Nashville, Tennesse; theoretical paradise of Country music. That's why the band despite being pleased with the obtained result, they speak out about their stay in USA and confirm they didn't feel good there. In words of the leader Lauri Ylönen "Nashville is a place quite special. It's a Mecca for country music. Many times we've felt out of place. Men wear cowboy hats and boots, and in that scene we felt like real freaks. Once, I went to the toilet in a bar and by me was this guy who told me: "Are you sure you are not a woman?". I've been living there 9 weeks altogether and I can tell you that we've had totally new experiences."
